About the therapist

Kristie Lee received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Andrews University in 2015. After earning her Doctorate, she pursued further education in Functional Manual Medicine through Michigan State University’s Osteopathic program. In 2018, she pursued and received a certification for dry needling, and has found it to be a great tool for improving myofascial restrictions and referred pain. She has over 9years of physical therapy experience and has loved every year of it.

She focuses her treatments on patient’s goals and takes her time to listen to each individual. She believes in a whole-body system approach and specializes in manual therapy. Her specialty is working with patients who present with complex dysfunctions, temporomandibular disorders, nerve injury, and orthopedic conditions. Dr. Lee’s approach starts with thorough evaluation of posture, joint mechanics, neuromuscular control, and myofascial restrictions. She then proceeds to manual treatment which involves myofascial release, neuromuscular rehab, muscle energy techniques, joint mobilizations, neural tissue mobilization, posture re-education, and therapeutic exercises.
